Albus Potter's relationship with his older brother, James Sirius Potter, was largely characterized by the classic dynamic of an older sibling playfully (and sometimes not-so-playfully) teasing their younger counterpart. As depicted in the epilogue of Deathly Hallows, this was most evident during their departure to Hogwarts from King's Cross. James, already established at Hogwarts and seemingly confident in his Gryffindor legacy, took a mischievous delight in poking at Albus's anxieties, particularly regarding the possibility of being sorted into Slytherin. Albus, more introspective and burdened by the weight of his father's fame, clearly felt the sting of these jests, even if they were born of sibling affection rather than malice. Their bond, while not always smooth given James's propensity for mischief and Albus's more serious nature, was ultimately a typical brotherly one – a blend of rivalry, affection, and the shared experience of growing up in the famous Potter family.
